Past Milestones:
Day 0 (Injury), Day -10 (Surgery) - 4/28/12 2:30pm - Right Achilles Tendon Ruptures
Day 10, Day 0 - 5/8/12 7:00am - Surgery...
Day 9 - 5/17/12 3:15pm - First Post-Op Follow-up with Dr. Brodie. Cast removed and placed in CAM boot. No wedges removed.
Day 11 - 5/19/12 - Removed first wedge from boot.
Day 20 - 5/28/12 - Full weight bearing in boot on the wedges.
Day 25 - 6/2/12 - Removed second wedge from the boot. Very tight tendon and stopped weight bearing for a few days until tendon loosened up. pretty much stopped using crutches after that.
Day 41 - 6/18/12 - Six week post-op follow-up with Dr. Brodie. Prescription to begin PT and start driving but wear the boot for another 6 weeks. Removed final wedge from the boot. Tendon took this wedge removal with ease. Still no crutches.
Future Milestones:
Day 56? - 7/2/12? - Walking without a boot?
